The Wavus Camp for Girls is a residential
and wilderness program for 8-16 year old girls that offers a safe,
adventurous environment where campers have an opportunity to explore
and develop their potential in a supportive and non-competitive setting. Guided
by a caring and experienced staff, campers increase confidence
through independent decision-making while forming lasting friendships
with peers from diverse backgrounds. As our girls become older
and more experienced, their trips become more challenging. At Wavus,
girls learn to be both independent thinkers and part of a mutually-dependent team.
Eight, nine and ten-year-old girls coming to the Wavus Camp for
Girls for the first time have the option of attending a 10-day
Introductory session if they and their parents feel this would
suit them better than the full 3-week program.
